~ Refrigerator smell
~ In for the refrigerator not to smell from the various of foods that you store, you can place somewhere in the refrigerator a small cup with Greek coffee.

~ Cleaning the plastic utensils
~ A solution from 1 spoonful of soda in 4 litres of hot water will make most smells disappear from the plastic utensils.
~ Simply sink them in the solution for a few minutes before you wash them.

~ Cleaning the egg
~ Utensils that have been used for the stirring of eggs or cheese, should first be rinsed with cold water and afterwards be cleaned with hot water and soap.
~ The rinse with hot water “cooks” the egg and makes the washing of utensils difficult.

~ Removing the garlic smell from the utensils
~ After you cut the garlic or the onion, you remove the smell from the utensils by passing half a lemon so much over the knife blades and the counter you cut it on or cutting board.

~ Clean the coffee-pot
~ In order to clean the coffee-pot, you fill it with water, throw in 1 or 2 spoonfuls of soda and leave to boil to pass threw the jug.

~ Keeping the jars clean
~ Before you close the jars or the bottles with oil, jam, honey, syrup etc, clean the lips with a wetted cloth.
~ This way you will keep the bugs away and you will be able open them more easily the next time.

~ Answering the telephone
~ You place an open plastic bag next to the telephone before you begin to knead the pie or the meatballs.
~ When the telephone rings (and it will ring) simply put your hand in the bag and answer without you making a mess.

~ Strategy of cleanness
~ You clean while you are cooking, to prevent having a mountain of cooking utensils at the end of cooking.
