| ~ Ingredients: ~ 3 cups of flour ~ 2 tbsp of olive oil ~ 1 tbsp of salt ~ 1 1/2 cup of warm water ~ 25 grams of fresh yeast |

| ~ Dissolve the yeast in 1 cup of warm water. ~ In a deep utensil with a lid, put 1 1/2 cup of flour, the water with the yeast, the oil and salt. ~ Mix well until you have a homogeneous mix. ~ Cover the utensil with the lid and place in a warm place for about 20-30 minutes. ~ After about 20-30 minutes, add the rest of the flour to the yeast mixture and knead with your hands. ~ Add more flour if needed until the dough is flexible and it does not stick to your hands. ~ You can separate the dough into two loaves if you want or leave it as one big round loaf. ~ Place the dough in a lightly oiled baking pan and place in the oven (without turning it on) for about 15 minutes to rise. ~ Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees Celsius (see conversions) in the middle grill for about 30 minutes or until is lightly brown. ~ Remove the freshly baked homemade bread from the oven and place on some kind of grill to cool down. ~ Fresh homemade bread with some butter, Feta cheese and Greek Dips is the best appetizer accompanied with a glass of red wine. ~ Good luck and enjoy. |
