| ~ Storing the flour ~ In the summertime keep the flour in the refrigerator in order to prevent the little bugs from getting in it and repercussions of high humidity. ~ Avoid burned pie filo dough ~ If the cuts and edges of your pie darken very fast, cut a piece of aluminum foil, longer at length and fold around the edges of the whole pie. ~ Preparing the dry ingredients ~ You simplify the cleaning when baking or cooking, measuring and preparing the dry ingredients in disposable paper saucers. ~ The paper dishes are particularly useful when you are preparing dough’s, because you can fold them as scoops and add the ingredients in the bowl gradually and tidy. ~ Keeping the dough humid ~ If your dough appears dry you knead on the counter lightly oiled instead with flour. ~ Striking the butter with the flour ~ When you prepare the dough, in order to see if the butter is well blended with the flour, you stir the bowl. ~ If there are big pieces present (the size of pea are permissible) you continue to stir the blow a little more. ~ Baking golden brown bread ~ For homemade bread with golden brown crust, remove the bread from the form and cook on tinfoil for the last 10 minutes. ~ The outside bread crust will take a beautiful golden brown color. |
