~ Make right choices:
~ Buy poultry of small size.
~ Select chicken, free-range hens, turkey or ostrich.
~ Avoid the goose and the duck but also the processed products from chicken, because they have more fat.
~ Prefer… breast:
~ The breast of poultry has more proteins and less fat, for this is preferable than legs and wings.
~ Remove the fat:
~ Before you cook the entire poultry, remove the skin and the all visible fat that are found under it.
~ The removal becomes easier, if you use a clean piece of cloth.

~ Potatoes yes, fried no:
~ Enjoy the potatoes boiled or roasted in tinfoil or in the oven.
~Garnish the boiled potatoes with fresh dill, parsley or fresh green onions.
~ Avoid the heavy sauces:
~ Garnish the rice, the potatoes and the pastas with fresh and dry greens, fresh green onions and fat free cheese or yoghurt.
~ Use soya sauce, and for more spicy flavour use mustard powder and curry.
~ Do not pour butter over the pastas:
~ It adds flavour but also calories, therefore it will be good to avoid it.
~ In order for the pasta not to stick together, add a few drops olive oil in t o water that boils in and mix well with a wooden spoon.
~ Make homemade popcorn:
It is food that satisfies and not fattening, as long as by no means adding butter - with little bit of olive oil and minimal salt it becomes delicious!
