| ~ Ingredients: ~ Pasta of choice ~ 2 tbsp butter ~ 2 tbsp flour ~ 2 cups milk ~ 1 cup sour cream ~ 1 clove garlic crushed or graded ~ 1 tsp paprika ~ 3/4 cup grated kefalograviera cheese or cheese of choice ~ 2 cans tuna in water, drained ~ 3/4 cup frozen peas ~ 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs ~ Salt and pepper to taste |

| ~ Boil water and cook pasta al Dante. ~ In a sauce pan melt the butter; add the flour while whisking to mix. ~ Lower the heat, add milk a little at a time and keep whisking to ensure a smooth sauce. ~ Add paprika, garlic, salt and pepper to taste and stir to mix. ~ Place the sour cream into a bowl, add a few tablespoons of the white sauce into the sour cream and stir to prevent it from separating when added to the pan. ~ Repeat a few times, then add the sour cream mixture to the pan, and stir to mix well. ~ Add half the cheese, and stir until melted. ~ Add the tuna, peas and pasta and stir to mix the sauce with the pasta. ~ Transfer to an ovenproof dish sprinkle the breadcrumbs over it with and sprinkle the rest of the grated cheese. ~ Broil until the cheese is melted and the top is browned. ~ Transfer your Pasta me Tono (Tuna Pasta Casserole) into a platter and serve while is hot. ~ Good luck and bon appétit. |
