| ~ Ingredients: ~ 1 large chicken ~ 500 g of chylopites ~ 2 onions finely chopped ~ 1 cup of tomato juice ~ 1 cup of grated tomatoes ~ 1/2 a cup of olive oil ~ 1 cup of red dry wine ~ Grated cheese of choice ~ Salt, pepper and paprika to taste |

| ~ Chylopites are a kind of home made pasta like Linguini cut in small pieces, made out of Semolina Eggs and Milk. ~ Chylopites can be found at any Greek Bakery or at any supermarket carrying Greek products. |
| ~ Cut the chicken in serving pieces and wash well. ~ In a frying pan heat up some of the olive oil and fry the cut up chicken pieces to sauté all over. ~ Add the finely chopped onions and sauté them also. ~ As soon as the onions are sauté, add the wine and let it cook for a few minutes. ~ Add the grated tomatoes, tomato juice, salt, pepper and paprika to taste, the remaining olive oil and 1/4 cup of hot water. ~ Cook in medium heat until the chicken is cook well. ~ Place chicken with sauce in a baking pan with cover, add the Chylopites, mix with the rest of the sauce and chicken and add enough hot water to cover the Chylopites. ~ Place in a preheated oven to 350 degrees and cook for about 12-15 minutes. ~ Serve hot, with sprinkled grated cheese of choice on top. ~ Good luck and bon appétit. |
