~ Chirino (Pork) is one kind of meat that has to be cooked to its fullest.
~ Evidence show that pigs and their cultivation go back thousands of years.
~ Pork is the most world wide used meat over Beef, Goat, Lamb or any other kind of meat, including poultry.
~ In the old days in Greece, Cyprus and the Islands people (in the villages) used to raise their own pigs for their own consumption.
~ They were fed with all natural products and table scraps and right before the Christmas season they were being killed and their meat was used in many deferent ways as it is used today.
~ Pork can be eaten in various ways, cooked (roast), smoked or cured (ham and prosciutto), or a combination of mentioned methods (bacon).
~ Also pork meat is the main ingredient for making sausages, salami and various cold cuts.
